Send me a song!

Yes, I’m about to shamelessly ask you give me a hand. At the tune of 1.29$ per person.
Tune! it’s a pun!!!!

Yesterday, I was seriously shaken to my core by a live version of True Colors by Cyndi Lauper. The day before, it was ROAR by Katy Perry. I won’t tell you how many times I listened to Royals in the last 48 hours. Everyone is talking about the ‘Magical Overalls’ on from DMR on SNL…. Come On Eileen has been on my top 10 FOREVER! *** Along with You Can Keep Your Hat On and Life is a Highway. (I really can’t help myself, I’m a Canuck, through and through)

Ok, I admit it. My musical taste is sucky. I’m a Blue Rodeo addict, stuck in the 80’s, with a Top 40 hit here and there that my daughters have pushed on me. (The song that I play over and over to get through the 60 kms walk is Shakira’s Waka Waka….)

What’s your POWER SONG?
I think I’m allowed to listen to my ipod in the radiation, so if you want to ‘be there’ with me and want to gift me a song

US itunes is mortimersmom @ gmail.com    /      CND itunes is champouxv @ gmail.com

yes. I’m shameless.
but you guys are always asking what you can do…. so send me a song to get me through 45 min of deep breathing, 30 days in a row!!!!!

*** the ‘magical overalls’ are in my FB feed AND Cyndi Lauper talked about them in her show!

V, I just sent you 4 of my favourite songs by Canadian artists. Dave and I share an apple ID, so the email address will look weird but they are from me, I promise. The songs are really catchy and fun. I hope that you like them.

I have been really quiet in terms of commenting, but know that I am always reading and thinking of/praying for you. xo

I’m working on something I’ll put in the mail!
This is fun: it brings me back to the good old cassette tape playlists!

I’m so computer illiterate, I have no idea how to send songs, but if I can figure it out, you can expect gems like I Will Survive and for Canadian content, Boys in a bright white sportscar – you’re hoping I never figure out how to send songs eh?

My Body by Young the Giant. “My body tells me no, but I won’t quit!” The exclamation may be my own poetic license but it fits.

  8. Kate Kehoe

A couple coming your way. I am sure I will come up with more. :)
